William
Shakespeare was born on April 1564. He is a English-poet and playwriter and is considered as the "master" of the English language.
His surviving works consist of 38 plays, 154 sonnets, two long narrative poems, and other poems. His plays have been translated
into every language.
He was born in Stratford-upon-Avon, England and at the age of 18 he married Anne Hathaway. He died after he retired somewhere
around April 1616.
Shakespeare was a respected poet and playwright in his own day, but his reputation did not rise to its present heights until
the nineteenth century. His most notable work were produced between 1590 and 1613. With tragedies like MACBETH, Hamlet, King Lear. His plays
remain highly popular today and he is concidered a legend.
