Macduff pronounces the king dead, and immediatly bcomes suspicious of Macbeth. He chases Malcolm, Duncan's son, all the way to England and take his side. He helps Macduff to get back his throne since he is the rightful heir to the throne. He also seeks revenge since Macbeth sends murderers to kill his wife, Lady Macduff, and his son (there were killed for punishment since Macduff left to England)
